D1 - Sensor-Enhanced Activity Management (SEAM)

Improve the quality of home-based rehabilitation by incorporating remote activity sensors into a therapy management app

D2 - Big Data Lake Development Project

This project will create a large “data lake” repository for data generated by the combined Pt Pal and Flint Rehab SEAM platform. This data lake will be used for advanced analytics to: 1) gain insights into the rehabilitation process and factors associated with more successful outcomes; 2) develop patient profiles to determine optimal strategies for maximizing adherence, engagement, and outcomes of home- and community-based therapeutic interventions; 3) develop clinical path algorithms to facilitate patients’ progress through the most effective rehabilitation approach based on their condition and participation profile; and 4) serve as a data resource for other investigators interested in mining the data lake for additional insights into the rehabilitation process.

D3 – Development of RehaBot

Develop/evaluate RehaBot, a conversational agent to support behavioral activation in self-management of depressive symptoms.

D4 - Development of Smart coach

Develop and evaluate feasibility of Smart Coach to support grounding for management of PTSD
